Formed in 1893, Bilton Silver (Rugby) Band is a community-based traditional British brass band, based in the village of Bilton, Rugby, in Warwickshire, England. We perform at many concerts throughout the year, varying from "Last Night of the Proms" events and Summer fetes, to Christmas carol services.
Whilst the bandroom is being rebuilt, we are rehearsing at Rugby School - see members page for latest schedule or contact the band. We rehearse Monday and Friday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Training band - Monday beginners suspended for the duration of the bandroom redevelopment, full TB Friday 6.30 at the old Bilton Social Club (now BEC), The Green, Bilton.
Formed in 1893, Bilton Silver (Rugby) Band is a community-based brass band in the village of Bilton, Rugby, in Warwickshire, England. The band is a traditional contesting brass band, placed in the Second Section of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
We are available to perform at your event - recent engagements include performances at "Last Night of the Proms" events, summer fetes, village celebrations and Christmas concerts and carol services.
The band also has a thriving junior/training section - Bilton Silver (Rugby) Training Band, open to all ages (from single figures to retirees!) and abilities, with instruments provided (where available) and tuition available.
We are always pleased to hear from any interested players, both for the main band and the training band (open to all ages).
